Representing Circular Materials at this important event was our <em>R&amp;D Specialist<\/em>, <strong>Federico<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">What is Circular Hydrometallurgy <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">and<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Why is it Important?<\/span><\/strong><\/p><p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><strong>Circular Hydrometallurgy<\/strong> marks a revolutionary shift in how traditional hydrometallurgical processes <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">are carried out<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">By<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> focusing on the design of energy-efficient flowsheets that use minimal reagents and produce virtually no waste<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, it champions sustainability<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> Central to this approach is the concept of circularity, where all reagents\u2014such as acids, bases, reducing agents, and oxidizing agents\u2014are regenerated and reused. <\/span><\/p><p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It\u2019s all about achieving more with less, creating a sustainable future for the industry.<\/span><\/p><p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">At <strong>Circular Materials<\/strong>, we have <strong>developed and patented green hydrometallurgical processes to recover critical and strategic raw materials from<\/strong> solid waste matrices, such as <strong>black mass<\/strong> derived from Li-ion battery shredding.
